SY35 is a fairly new addition to the stick curtain wall product line of SYKON. It addresses the need
for a slim line captured glazed curtain wall system that provides a better sightline for the facade of
the building. The width of the SY35 as the name suggests is only 35 millimeters. This is around
40% less of the standard curtain wall system width in the market.
Of course, aside from the cost savings from the reduced frame width, there is the aesthetic
advantage of having a slender frame offering wider sightline and sleek appearance that a lot of
architects and designers prefer. Not to mention the better thermal conductivity of the system due
to its minimal width.
The system caters to standard glass thicknesses and up to 50 millimeters of glazing should the
project require it.
It offers a wide range of typology for what suits the project design. Either, simple
strip curtain wall or a continuous curtain wall with single glazed spandrels, the system performs
high serviceability standards.
The accessories and hardware used on every SYKON product are meticulously screened to
provide the best performance under which the system is tested.
SY35 are commonly used for resort hotels and vacation villas.
